Default Cel 6,10,41 on B16 swap into EK..help..

recently i finally got around to swappin in my b16a3 into my 98 Ek
i used a 97 EX harness and modified the dizzy for obd2. i changed the plug on my alternator as well to save a few bucks.

after doing all of the rewiring for the intake temp..o2...and all of the vtec goods up there i have 3 cel's...

6,10, and 41

i redid the wiring for 10...i dono what is up with it....bad sensor maybe..
6...just came on b4 i came inside...my radiator is just for the car to sit there at idle...it had a crack at the bottome...and i just ran water in it so i could run the car for a couple of minutes to get some codes...could it just run the code b/c its runnin outta water and what not....i dono let me know on this one...
and 41 is puzzling me b/c i have no heater controls...like everything is just off..??? weird....

i'm using the skunk 2 conversion harness from obd2a to obd1 and i'm using a b16a3 ecu. I just had this motor in another car of mine and i really didn't have these problems..but in the process of swappin somethin coulda happened...
to say the least the car doesn't run well at all..it sounds horrible and is backfiring at times..i had ITR cams in it before i did this swap and i took them out and put back in the stock ones..i retime'd the motor to spec but there is always the one chance one cam is off a tooth..- let me know if anyone thinks it is....cause it might be..

i checked my compression on 3 and 4..just to see...when it was 20 degree's outside the motor was freezing i got 210 outta them..
now its 70 outside and the motor was warm and i got about 180 outta them...30 degree differnce seemed like alot to me....but then again the motor was hot and it was warm outside...

anyone has any ideas hit me up...
Thanks

You have a wiring nightmare.

Go through all of your wiring and make sure it is correct. Make sure you didnt mess up putting the cams in.

I'll be back after I look up some stuff.....

6 ECT Sensor (Engine Coolant Temperature) defective circuit or unplugged / defective sensor

10 IAT Sensor (Intake Air Temperature) defective circuit or unplugged / defective sensor

41 Primary Oxygen Sensor - Heater circuit malfunction

I would definitely recheck the wiring. Are you sure the radiator plug is plugged in? Did you extend the wires for the o2? What all have you done to the o2 sensor?

cel 6 i'm not worried about....it's b/c there is no coolant really....there is a whole in my radiator and it leaks a lil so coolant was coming out but i only ran the car in my garage and so forth...so i think that's why that one came on...i redid the wiring for that 6 too....i just plugged my o2 sensor in i believe i'll have to double check on that one..and the intake temp sensor....i'll rewire the whole thing again i guess....i'm still puzzled to why the motor would run as crappy as it does with just these 3 lights...i would think it would run fine w/o these while cool then once it gets warmer it would change i dono tho my basterized set-up is so ghetto...bump for the help yo..

when i go to hit the gas it doesn't fly up as it would normally...i re checked the gap on my valves and there all between .006 and .008..i did them all to .007 and so forth
would the car run if it had the exhaust cam on the intake side and so forth?????
i didn't put this thing together perhaps someone else F'd up?

motor is tim'd quite well as well..

1,3,4,2
is the firing order...correct i may add i took off the cap to see if it was correct...while at TDC on one it was on the #1 cylinder plug so thats correct....

but..i take back all the timing issues...
i decided to take apart the whole timing assembly and turn's out it was off one took on the crank side....when pulling the tensenior tight i pulled the crank and hadn't noticed it..causeing it to be off a tooth while the head was completely sexy and looked perfect in my eyes so i thought i had it right......its off enough to where the car runs like a ******* but will still start...i'm going to go buy a new belt b/c when trying to correct my timing my belt is so strected id have to stretch it more to get it on another tooth to be tight....so off to honda i go to buy an oem genuine honda belt..after i get that and put everything back i'll let everyone what the dilly is yo....thanks

oh yeah....i have the o2 sensor cel ..i have an LS header right now and i don't believe its a 4 wire o2 sensor for the LS..i beleive its 2...so what o2 sensor do i need...damn it...

You need a four wire o2, I'm sure the majority of your problems will be fixed once you get the timing belt figured out.
