Catback 2.25" or 2.5"
I have en EG with a JDM b18c should I run a 2.25" catback or should I run 2.5" it's gonna be custom piping to a magnaflow es oval. Also if I buy the 2.5" inlet, 2.5" outlet would it be hard to weld 2.25" piping to the es oval exhaust?

Why would you want to run a 2.25 pipe to the muffler? What is the inlet of the muffler? Dont go to bigger then the muffler because it will restict you at the end.
I had 2.25 on mine when it was NA and it felt just right. But if your going to build or turbo then go bigger. 2.5 is good.

What the hell are you talking about!?! Do you know anything about thermal dynamics?
Look guys, it's simple hot air is expanded as it cools it contracts, that's why VW owners use 3" downpipes and 2.5" cat-backs. The exhaust cools enough to fit properly.
Either way, you cannot go wrong with a 2.5" exhaust, boosted or N/A.
The only thing you do with a 2.25 is limit yourself in both HP and in future options.
