catalytic converter problem on a ek hatch w/ gsr swap!
im tryna to put a catalytic converter on my hatch but it has a gsr swap so would i need a gsr cat or a civic hatch cat? And i also have a straight pipe that is on the hatch.I just bought a stock exhaust pipe and i notice theyre the same size! so when i put a cat on will my exhaust stick out more? sorry if im asking noob questions but this is killing me

Got to an exhaust shop and have them weld in a new cat. If you're staying OBD2 you're going to need them to use one with an O2 bung in it to run the secondary O2. All 96up Civic hatch cats were incorporated into the exhaust manifold (header) and can't be used with a bseries swap.
