Cat problem
I have an 1994 cx HB with a jdm d15b, p28 ecu, full exhaust with test pipe and looking to pass emission. I know that the cat is connected to the manifold, but what do i need to do in order to pass emission regarding the cat and the secondary 02 sensor

remove the test pipe and put a cat in it's place.

Re: Cat problem (philosofy1)
Cat problem solved but a new one has risen. I need to know is there any diagram on wiring a 1 wire o2 to a 4 wire o2 sensor because my d15B is running a little rich and that o2 is my problem.

u cant wire a 1-wire for a 4-wire-reading ECU, it just doenst work that way. 1 wire and 4 wire 02 sensors each run differently, in the sense that, 4 wire 02's have a heater (2black wires) a 12v source (white) and a signal (blue), where as 1 wire 02's are just a signal.
OBD1 cars only require one 02 sensor. No 92-95 civics ever came with a secondary one. The p28 will be looking for a 4-wire 02 sensor, so unless your using the correct wiring harness with a 4-wire 02, you will get a CEL. If you still have the harness (CX) with the signle wire 02, then run the correct ecu (p06 is for CX, right?)

Re: Cat problem (97Ej6mike)
I have a check engine light on but my cx guage cluster doesnt work, so back to square one. Does anyone know how to rewire a 1 wire o2 to make it into a 4 wire o2 sensor without replacing the engine harness. Can't pass emission without converting to a 4 wire because the p28 ecu is looking for the 4 wire. Please help................................
No the p05 ecu is for the cx which thats what my car has. I found the ecu and it said code p05 A02 which is the wrong ecu i need a p08 ecu.
