Default Failed Referee Test........

I went to pass my usdm B18c1 and passed all the visual and funstional test for the engine but i failed every category on the sniffer. I took my car to a test and repair station after the test and they said that my cat is gone. I have a stock 95 gsr cat on the car now. I am thinking of getting a carsound cat but i dont think they have an o2 bung in them. Question is does it matter where they place the o2 bung on the cat as far as the ref is concerned??? Any suggestions? thanks

Mike

usually the stock cat's have the O2 sensor on the front of the cat convertor right before the bricks or center section.. you can order a carsound cat with the 02 bung on it.. good luck

Yes, the ref will care where the O2 bung is.
I had an OBDI CAT, and the secondary O2 bung after the CAT on the exhaust pipe.

He failed me because of it, so I had to go find an OBDII CAT to use......pain in the ***, but its done now.
