Carbon Fibers, Too small???
I was at a body shop today and I mentioned I wanted a CF hood, the guy laughed and said, they look good, thats it! I was like, " ", and then he said they don't fit, they are generally too small around the sides. Is this true H-T?

nope, not true. a lot of people have good experiences with CF hoods. there are some where the sides sit up higher than the car so that it leaves a gap, but i've never heard of a hood being too small.

It was Ture For Me, U can make it fit, it just depends on what brand you get, i have herd that VIS and Spoon and Fiber Imagies (spelling?) all fit great with the car. You get what you pay for.
I have a aerogear hood, if it wasn't for the hood pins the hood wouldn't of fit.
don't buy aerogear they suck.

I noticed that a lot of CF hoods allways have a gap on one side or the other, and never really sit even on a car, look the next one you see over good, and you will noticed it

my hood is kinda raised on the passenger side, but i think my latch is bent. otherwise the only problem isthat it doesnt go down far enough in the front

There are some rubber stoppers up front that you can turn to adjust your hood's "height".

Also depends on the car. If a car has been hit before, the factory body panels may not line up correctly, and this may cause the cf hood to fit poorly

Re: Carbon Fibers, Too small??? (viet)
I just got a used Fiber Images hood....in all honesty...it fits better than i expected....it sits barely higher than the finders...not even noticiable...unless you specifically look for it....and the gaps between the hood and the fender are a tad wider than with the stock hood....maybe by...2-4 mm MAX....there is a small area on my driver side headlight that it sits a lil funny....but again...you dont notice it unless you're really looking for it....Fiber Images gets a huge from me...also...hoodpins help a ton....and in my eyes are a must...
