Okay my buddy has a 1992 Civic DX Auto, Well the timing belt snaped bent some valves so me and him put a new engine in. Well after we finished doing everything and putting it back together the car cranks over but no start. There is fuel going up to the engine and there is Spark but still not start and so this is kinda making me mad. Well im just wondering if anyone eles has ever had this problem well hopfully someone can help me out on this.

Re: car wont start (milruner)
School and work are more important than his car... you can tell him that. When you're not busy, check to make sure the engine you put in doesn't have any seized injectors. I did a B18b swap into my buddy's EG hatch, when we went to start it, same problem. Good fuel pressure, good spark, timing dead on, etc. but it still wouldn't start. Turns out it had 3 siezed injectors.

Re: car wont start (CycloneBlue_1.6EL)
Well the injectors from the old engine worked fine and when we got the new engine there was no intake manifold so we put the one from the old engine on. They worked fine in the old engine so i will look over everything tomorrow since im off and have no school. well thanks for the info.

I dunno if this will help you but check for grounding wires. I had a similar problem before, there was a ground missing on the tranny to chassis, I connected it and it started up fine.
