car WON'T shut off???????
So umm YEah! My car won't shut off when I pull the key out. i have to pull the neg. off of the battery... What are some possible causes...? I was doing some work on the fuel rail/ FPR and injectors.... Could some gas getting on the alternator cause something like this to happen???

EDIT:
Blah, I read that wrong, okay, scratch 99% of what I said up there, thought u said u pulled the negative terminal and nothing happend, was wondering how it was running w/ the termainal d/c, anyways, it doesn't sound like a fuel problem only b/c when u shut the ignition off, the sparks shut off, no more of them, and without them even if the injectors were to somehow stay on (which they can't w/o power goign to the system) you wo uldn't get a spark so there'd be no ignition and your car would't run anyways, which leads me to believe there's a problem with your ignition system (where the key is) - somehow it seems it's making the connection without the use of a key, which is weird, a wire must be grounding otu to something, or something that effect b/c a car isn't supposed to have a circuit and make a spark w/o the key in and turned :-\, so I definatley think it's something in the actual locking part of where the key goes, maybe it's not turning the tumbler back all the way, I don't know (try to make sure when u turn it off, it's going back as far as it can go), so I guess from here you have 2 choices 2 investigate that part..you could A. change hte ignition, or B. use a dent puller w/ a heavy weight, rip out the lock of the ignition, and start it w/ a screw driver
Now on the otherside, I could be completely wrong and it could be something else entirely, so I guess do what others do b4 doing what I suggest, b/c I'm not 100% sure :-\ I'm sure other pple have had this problem, I personally have not, GL, hope u get it fixed

Re: (Slamaccord)
Ok, I figured it out... For some reason the HONDATA ECU didn't wanna control the fuel pump so I tapped into the on position wire for the ignition. SO when I turn the car on the pump will work.. For some reason w/ the stock ECU (controls the pump) it causes it to stay on... But problems fixed now...
