car starts when it wants
i have a 1997 civic hatch with a 1997 gsr swap, car has ran great until about a month ago, when i was driving down the highway and it started to sputter under load, so i back off the throttle and downshifted and then i had no power at all. towed the car back to my shop and looked at it, no codes except for 02 codes, replaced spark plugs, wires, iat sensor which was melted, and car started after cranking on it for a while. when car decides to start it will idle perfectly until it runs out of gas, but when i drive it and put load on it(anything over like 40-45% thottle) it sputters and will have no power no matter where i am in the power band.
I AM ALL OUT OF IDEAS IF ANYONE HAS SOME IDEAS PLEASE SEND ME A PM, EMAIL, OR POST ON THIS TOPIC. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE

Re: car starts when it wants (cleggboy)
Did you check your fuel pressure? You may have a cloged filter ect.
I say that because at an idle it dosent need as much gas and under idle it can keep up but when you acelerate it cant. Its just anther idea for you to check out. PM Luserkid he's pretty good with motors. sorry I wasent mroe help to you....
