Default car runs like crap.

I'm getting a cel in my car. I tried hooking it up to the obd2 scanner and the scanner could connect to the ecu. then I tried the jumper method with no luck also. The car is running in safe mode. I tried changing the iac, coolant sensor, ecu. Does anybody have any ideas?

Do you have electrical problems or something? The scanner should work.. and so should the jumper method.

have you checked the grounds on the ecu? You should be able to hook a scan tool up. Check your fuses first off.... ALL of them. Then trace your wiring

its getting spark. its just something is causing it to run in safe mode. I changed some sensors and its the same thing. When I took out the b18b everything was running smooth. now when I threw in the lsvtec its when this starting happening.

is it real rich? it sounds like you have something crossed. if the car(or computer) is not obd2 then a scanner wont tell you ****, if your jumping it and still no codes, its for sure a connector switched or the jumper is fucked. this car is obd2 with a jumper right?
