Car question 92eg or 99ek
ok, let me start by sayin everytime i see a car i want i always find another one
, ok im lookin at a 92hb and a 99hb, but i got a sc for a b16 so i wanted a car w/b16, do u think the miles on the EK chassis will really lower the resale price if/when i get a swap on it
92hb (white)
-legit b16
-dropped
-intake
-exhaust
-6puk clutch
prob
-grinds 3rd (syncros)
-very very small rust on 1/4 pannels
-right axle
99Ek
-stock
prob
-ok get ready
-290K miles
same price btw

I really dont like the idea of buying a car that has already been modified because you might inherit some problems that they did not inform you about and you do not know what the car's been through.
I would only buy the 92 hatch if you really really have to have it or its from a good friend.
But i'd get the 99 hatch if i were you
btw damn how'd they drive that much in 4 years

well im really leanin towards the EK, but how much of a prob will the 290K mile chasis give me, if any, im most likely changin the suspension, and the motor, wat other prob could it have, considerin the basic stuff a "tuner" changes ex. exhaust, suspension, engine, etc.

I'd get the ek. less than 3500 for a 99 is a good deal, especially since EK's are getting harder to find. Plus, it's stock!! Who cares about miles if your going to swap it.

but of course, i make my decision and tell the kid i want the car.. and wat do u know he says hes not lookin to sell the car no more, ohh well more luck for me, im thinkin since i already have a sc for a b16, to just sell it and get a sohc turbo kit and get an ek, they would both end up w/pretty much the same amount of power
