Default car cutting off, help fixing it please

hey everyone, 96 civic dx,stock d16y7, here we go. . .

When im driving and put the car in neutral, sometimes (seems like most of the time when its hot outside, heat seems to be a factor) the car will go down to almost idleing at 500 rpms and then cut off. When it cuts off the alt. light flashes and somtimes it will bog really low and stay on, other times it will bog low and completely cut off. The only check engine light it throws is bank 1 O2 sensor it bad. So the question is, what is most likely the problem, would the O2 sensor be it, or the throttle possition sensor, or something else i haven't even thought of?

Appreciate the help, Todd

Did you check the IACV? It could be dirty.
