Well as many of you know my car was stolen and broken into last October. It was recovered w/ a blown '98 B20B and many broken and stolen parts(WW front lip, dented hood and roof, broken window,etc...). Luckily all my JDM parts remained(yeah the theives were ricers).

Anyway after many months of repairs and coming to the DOHC VTEC side I was happy w/ the way the car was.

Last night I got a beat on my dorm room door. I was like WTF and answered the door. It was campus police. I didn't even expect them to tell me that. Some high school drop outs(dumb asses) went on a campus theft raid in 2 seperate parking lots. These dumb F#@ks found my hatch and decided to go the extra mile. They broke my driver side window, stole my less than a week old VAFC, Kenwood head unit, and radar detector.

Instead of just taking the little things and leaving, they got a little happy and decided to go for my newly aquired(two weeks ago), old school JDM, 9.5lbs Racing Hart CP-Fs. Well I guess it took them a little too long to get the car jacked up b/c campus police caught them losening(sp) the wheel lugs.

The arresting officer is also an import fanatic and has a 3rd Gen RX-7 twin turbo. He knew where I was coming from. When it was time to add up damages to decide the charges, he doubled the price of every part jacked or attemped jacked. This moved the charges from simple larceny to major larceny(felony). Oh and since I had some dents on the roof from the last theft(didn't have the money to fix it). The officer also charged them w/ major vandalism. So hopefully my insurance will fix it soon and then I can press civil charges and charge their family some money.

I'm sorry about that ****. What ******* people are! Just remember, not all dropouts are dumbasses. Some are really smart. They just dropout because they're failing cuz they don't do the homework.

how did the campus cop catch them did you have any anti theft protection?
go for the extra mile and get all the damage claims from the violator and process
that little punk in kiddie jail.

Good job on the campus police's part. Campus police down here don't do anything to protect your cars. My car was stolen off of campus in less than an hour. When I went to report the theft, they gave me this attitude like "what??!? I gotta go paperwork for you??!?" The only reason why campus police exist at UNO is to right parking tickets and that's it. I wished that actually tried to protect the students and there property in some way.

Anyway, to the campus police at your school.

I know not all high school dropouts are bad but these guys are. I did have an anti theft device but my car sits in a parking lot 3-5 minutes walking distance from my dorm. They probably set off the alarm a couple times before went in for the kill to make sure no one noticed.

man, you got so lucky. my car was stolen out of my dorm parking lot in less than 20 minutes.

dude, at my school, it is the campus cops that are breaking into cars.... they have the tools to open up the cars because people lock their keys in their cars all the time.... one day, i see campus police park next to a suv, get his tools, go over to the passenger side of the car open it, jack a book of 100 cd's, then close up and lock the car... i was baffled... anyway.. there was no real point in telling this story... glad everything is going to work out... my ej6 got stolen and the guy that towed it told me that they caught the guys... would of been cool to hear it from a cop tho..

Well I went to the arraignment. Two of the kids were brothers. One had no record and was let out on his own recognisanse(sp) and the other younger brother just got out of jail in October for the same damn charges. He has $25,000 bail so he has to get at least 10%($2,500) to get out. So he put on a big show and started crying in front of the judge. The judge said she didn't feel any remorse so she stood her ground on his bail.

The other kid was a minor so he went to juvenile and I didn't get to see or find out his name. If they choose to do Pre-Trial Intervention they would have to pay restitution. But if they don't and go to trial I'll have to wait and see if the judge makes them pay restitution on February 17 when the case goes to trial.

So basically I still have to pay for a window and a fucked up dash. This ******* sux. All my friends can't believe my bad *** luck. For some reason I have very bad karma. Man I can't win for ****.

Awe JDM interior is hard to hide!!! There wasn't anything other than my radar detector that could be removed easily when the car is parked.
