Car breaks up around 5,000rpms...
I bought a car that came with a built B20vtec in it and long story short the car itself had 87 gas in it and the motor was started up on that a few times and driven about 15 miles. Since then I have drained the gas then filled it with 93, replaced the plugs, wires, cap, and rotor and the car still breaks up around 5,000rpms. It did this around 3,000rpms before I changed everything out and today when I first drove it the car reached red line a few times and crossed over and then started to do the same thing again. Although the car made it to red line it felt very sluggish. I was wondering if the 87 gas could still be effecting the motor or if maybe the plugs I have in there are doing it, they are $12 NGK platinum but I was reading and it seems NGK V-powers are a colder and better plug for 12:1 compression so that is what I will be putting in tomorrow. Any help or other suggestions would be great. Thanks
Edit: Well I switched out the plugs and nothing, now the car won't start for me. I'm going to switch of the distributor all together today and see what happens then. The car also has an inline fuel filter so I'll open that up and check it out but I don't think fuel is the problem.

I bought the car tuned with the chipped ecu and the hondata s200. Car was tuned in Cali by previous owner so I can't really say.
