does the car act funny otherwise?is it overheating or anything?
first, make sure you temp **** is working correctly and opening the valve that lets warm water into the heater core.did it do this all of a sudden or what?
BTW-you should probably title your post better-give people an idea of what it's about.

Yea its overheating within 10 minutes of driving, like way past the red, it just happened all of the sudden, and when im in 3rd gear my car starts going crazy like almost sounds like stalling until i take it out of that gear.

how old is the water pump?pull your dipstick and check your oil, also check your coolant-do they look discolored?hopefully you didn't hurt anything else from running it that hot.
is it losing coolant?

Feel the lower radiator hose and see if it's cool after the car is warmed up. If it's cool then it's the thermostat. If it's warm it's not the thermostat.

EDIT: I don't understand what you mean by no heat....I think your heater coil may be dying. Is there any moisture in your floorboards??
