capable tuning houses in the East
I am currently putting together a list for Apex Integration to use during their hunt for power excel shop prospects. They are coming out to the East Coast in May/ June to interview those that are fabulous import with a dyno and wide-band. Any ideas? I have covered NY and North Jersey pretty well, i am looking for any names elsewhere on the EC. THanks ahead of time for your help.

Are you asking for the names of shops on the east coast?
in ct there are a couple ...
Pruven Performance
Modern Performance
Triple Digit Motorsports
Mancherster Honda
I'm sure there's more..

Doing the work for me would be putting the spreadsheet together with all their information, including date of opening, all contact information, dyno type, a/f meter type, calling these operations and performaing the proper pre-qualifying, etc. Anyway, anyone have any positive contributions to this thread?

I don't know... they're right up the road from me though....
they have some SICK cars...
I went there once or twice but they were TOTAL dicks... I asked for a price on a downpipe for an ihi turbo I had... he's like oh we could make you one for 4-5 hundred dollars (this was with me providing both flanges)... then I asked how much for a msd ignition... he's like oh about 500 bucks.... I'm like WTF are you talking about I want a SCI they retail for 170... he's like "oh... I though you meant a digital"... ya dude I want a full race ignition meant for alcohol cars.
WTF....
But I've also heard good things about them from others. so... who know... I don't get much if any work done at a shop so... I have no reason to find out for sure...
I may go there to get them to dyno my car though... not sure.

stratford...
but just to be fair... there was another post here or somewhere else where someone got work done there and the work seemed fair and he was MORE than happy... I think he may have known them... not enough for him not to pay for the work but enough for them not to have the attitude they had when I went in there.
