ok, i've been studying the install info on the hybrid webpage for the rear itr sway bar. and my question is, instead of getting the prothane kit can't you just enlarge the hole in the itr d-braket? it's just the same as getting the prothane kit. what do you guys think?

If you're doing this for an EG, no, you can't just enlarge the hole.
The reason you can't just use the ITR bracket, etc, is because the subframe -- where the swaybar attaches -- is too weak to support the bracket, and after some hard driving you'll start ripping the subframe.
There's a guy on here who makes a Beaks kit for the ITR sway bar -- he'll probably respond to this message, but I think his email is BeaksProducts@hotmail.com or you can go to Home Depot and build your own renforcement kit... I'd probably just go with the Beaks, but that's because I'm too busy these days to spend the time fabricating a kit.

Re: can't i just do this for the itr sway bar? (itrhybrid)
im not talking about using the itr mounting brackt im talking about using the gsr mounting bracket with the itr d-brackt cause in the diy they just use a gsr mounting bracket with a prothane d-bracket but i was thinking modifyin the itr d-bracket so i don't have to use the prothane bracket
