cant fit oem throttle cable on 92-95 civic dx hatch!
ok, i did a search on engine swaps and the type of throttle cable that were used to make the engine run. nobody really posts on what they did (which can help) and i've ran out of money and time on this motor swapping project and cant really buy a new cable right now. i read some people used the cable that came with the car, but fabricated brackets to make it work. i did this but for some reason mine doesnt work. ive even changed over the piece that is on the throttle body the cable hooks to, and still nothing.
either the cable is to tight and leaves my engine reving, or its to loose and i cant give it gas(from the gas pedal).
please if there is anybody out there with pics or good ideas please help, because i really need to get this over with.

you just have to get creative.
i used a throttle cable from some honda(found it in the dirt at a junk yard) which was too long to i hooked it in the black bracket on the driverside, and removed the plug from the firewall and if i pull the cable tight (between the firewall and bracket) then its good. then i just pinched the bracket closed so the cable doesnt move. i think the "right" thing to do is use an integra throttle cable.....by the way i assume that you are putting a b series into an eg? if not than disregard that paragraph
