Hi. I have a 1993 Honda civic. Problems started with my car over heating. I replaced the thermostat, then the radiator. No more over heating but I was loosing power. I replaced the spark plugs and I found a hose that had a hole in it. I was able to cut off the little end with a whole and stretch it to fit. My power was back but then it began to over heat again. Yesterday I was messing around and my spark plugs ended up getting wet. I had my car running and all of a sudden it died. It wouldn't start after that. I let the spark plugs dry over night and today I was able to get it started after a few tries. I let it run for a while added more gas to it. The car continued to run. I shut it off and tried to turn it on again but it wouldn't turn on and now I cant even get the key out of the ignition. I don't know what is wrong with the car and what I need do to fix it but any advice would be appreciated. I think I need to replace the water pump to stop the over heating but I've already put so much into the car I don't want to put more until I know for sure. Any responses are appreciated. Thanks

Sounds like you car is in desperate need of some proper basic maintenance, including an ignition system tune up, new coolant hoses, and a thorough cooling system bleed.

Also post any CEL codes that are thrown.
