aight im new to the jdm game and i got a 93 eg also have a ls motor that im pretty sure is pre obd and i was wondering if i can swap that to a obd1 because ive heard you cant so im just trying to here from someone else and if i can what would i need to do it.

i don't have a direct answer for you, but i can tell you it's possible to run the LS motor in the EG. it may not be as easy as using an OBD-1 motor, not plug-and-play. on the other extreme it may be a huge headache, tons of work and so impractical that you should just sell what you got and buy what you need... only speculating, i've not tried this personally.

if you're motivated to make it work despite all odds, get some coffee or an energy drink and start reading untill you forget your own name.. then read some more. i've found PGMFI.org to be helpful on this topic. there should be plenty here in the FAQs as well.

otherwise, see if you can manage to sell the LS swap for enough to buy a OBD-1 swap.

yeah most the snsors are the same,but you may need a obd1 intake manifold for it and thermotat housing for a b18. use the obd1 harness thats in the civic. no cutting.

yes you need a jumper harness i had an obd2 y7 and obd0 civic so i went to obd1 anything is possible with hondas just need the time and money but it would be easier to get a 0bd1 Ls
