Can I use my stock resonator mated to my 2.25 piping?
Well..I got my ES muffler and I'm getting it installed tomorrow..anyways..as of right now, I have 2.25 piping with no resonator into my stock muffler..I know theres not a big difference if I have the resonator or not with the ES muffler..but I want to put it on because cops in so. cal suck *****...Not a single good cop here..anyways...I was just thinking if I can put my stock resonator on the 2.25 piping..( i have no idea how big or actually how small the stock piping is..all i know is that it can shooot peas..)...will it make a big difference in performance wise? should I have them weld it on or just leave it the way it is? ThankS

i got my stock resonator welded onto my custom 2.25 piping. in terms of noise it helped a little, not much. unless the shop will do it for free/cheap, i don't know if it's worth it. but yeah it'll fit. muffler shops have the equipment to bend/modify/etc piping..
