Default Can I take out my D15B engine without removing the tranny?

What up? I need some quick insight into my engine removal for my civic. I wanna know if I can remove the engine block by itself and save me the headache of tking the tranny out along with it. Is it possible get back at me ASAP!

Take the whole thing out dude, it would be a HUGE pain in the *** to keep the tranny in there by itself, actually prolly impossible, take it all out at once and take tranny off after its out if you need to.

impossible, there's a 2" shaft that goes from the tranny to the engine

and what is hard about getting the engine out, its like 4 bolts and some plugs

Yeah, I know i'm just being lazy, but I guess it's gotta be done the old fashion way tomorrow. Hey!, what a good aftermarket clutch to install while I've got it out? I'm running of the original engine clutch now, and I'm look to enhance my performance but not go into the poor house. Saving for a K20 engine next Spring. Get back @ me.

your not really making any power that would warrent an aftermarkett clutch, dont worry about it, especially if your getting a K soon.

if you want to be lazy i would take the tranny out with it cuz its gona be alot harder to undo all those bolts that are a pain and than u gota slide the motor off the shaft and slide it back on...

just easier to take the tranny out with it in my oppinion
