can i Keep highbeam's with a H4 HID kit?
hi, can any H4 HID kit still have the highbeam? the low beam are HID but the highbeam is not. "Jonathan_EH " says his kit is able to do this. i thought all H4 kits lose there highbeam function. unless you get a high/low Hid kit? am i right or wrong. thanks

Generally H4 HID's lose the use of highbeams, but it's HID's so you'd probably wouldn't need them anyway. But there are kits out there that have the ability to use a highbeam feature.

Yes.. there is a niffty HIGH/LOW beam HID kit that you can get now for all your H4 needs..

i believe you can buy the bi-xenon kit and keep your highbeams.

You would have to get projectors.. And the H4 HIDs won't fit into the projectors very easily. I know.. I'm in the process of doing that right now..
You should get some Denji Projectors or something of that sort and then get an H3 HID kit if you want HIDs for low and non-HID for high beams.. You can have them both on at the same time if you wire it correctly too..

Look at the picture of the bulb.
You can clearly see the halogen bulb right above the HID bulb.
The kit uses the halogen bulb for the 'high' beam, and the HID bulb for the 'low' beam.
You do not have to get projectors to fit these, as I've had them in my stock Civic headlight housings.
Look at my F/S thread for the pics of them installed in my car.
Hope this clears up any confusion.
