Can I Hook up The Engine Oil to an "Automatic" Radiator(the oil coolant thing)
i just got a new radiator, and its a auto/manual style, so it has the ports for the automatic fluid lines. can i get one of those parts that go between the block and the oil filter, and have that cool my engine oil?? or will it like melt the radiator??

those lines that go to the auto transmission is for coolant i believe. what you need is a oil cooler.

im pretty sure he knows this,im thinking he wants to know if he can use the tranny cooler part of the radiator as a oil cooler,i dont see why not,i dont think it will be as effeciant as a actual oil cooler but i thuink it would work.
im not sure about the honda radiator, but for most other ones its a totally seperate chamber made for tranny fluid,so oil would be the same.

yeah, i know the differance, but i figure its there, why not use it for something?? it is a totally seperate chamber, at the bottom of the radiator.
the radiator is from autozone, its dual core, a little over an inch thick, one year warranty, and the best part..... its $99.99!! i couldnt believe that it was dual core, its great.
now that i know it might work, anyone know where to get that little block that goes between the block and filter??
