Default Cams for my 99 SI???

Is there anything better than CTR cams or are they the best bet? What about only using the intake CTR cam? WIll the CTR cams hurt anything on my car and are they that big of a difference in power from stock?

skunk2 cams (stages 1, 2, 3)
toda cams (spec 1, 2, 3)
jun cams (stage 1, 2, 3)

ctr cams wont hurt your car if you have the right valvetrain (depending on how high you want to rev it)

and the ctr cams would definately make a difference with proper tunning (sounds more agressive as well)

Well, was planning on just running the stock valve train. I've been told that with the stock valve train and keeping it out of the red I should be fine with CTR cams. I don't want to do any damage to the motor. I also want to keep the exhaust all stock. Something about beating a loud Honda with my "quiet" one makes me smile.

Are those valve springs spendy? I know I can get them installed for next to nothing. Can I get them from Honda or is there a better place online or something?

i've been running CTR's on my 00 Si for about 6 months now.... took her to the track, and I take it to 8200 almost daily -- no problems here. Here's my experience with them:

Before: 15.0@91mph
AEM CAI
Skunk2 IM
USDM DC 4-1
Tenzo Muffler
VAFC (untuned... well.. butt-tuned)

After: 14.7@96mph (look at the trap speed.... me needs traction)
AEM CAI
Skunk2 IM
JDM DC 4-1
VAFC (untuned... well.. butt-tuned)
Custom 2.5" Exhaust
CTR Cams
ACT Street Clutch
ACT Prolite Flywheel

For the money, I love the CTR's... although they will be ditched for something else in the future.
