2000 civic ex ecu question (did search)
ok i got a 2000 civic ex... if i get an OBD1 ecu will i get more power? will it even werk? anyone have and experience with this? tia

I think that spending the money on changing you car to OBD1 would be mad expensive...maybe I'm wrong...don't wanna give you bad info but you would probly be better served getting a ecu that is setup for your setup.

i cant just plug up an obd1 ecu? i had a feeling it wasnt gonna be simple.... i was looking for a cheap power getter untill i can save for a b20 swap

It's not worth it for your application. You MIGHT gain a little bit of power, but I don't think it's worth the $400 right now.
Keep saving. When you get the motor, then go OBD1.
Or, I guess you could go now seeing as you're gonna do it anway.
