2" would be perfect-> use an eibach pro-kit, and yes you will need a camber kit, mostly for the rear which really only needs a few washers behind the lower con. arm stud, but you might as well opt. for the entire kit. Check ebay for an Ingalls kit, I got my 4wheel kit on there for $100.

If your lower the car at all you are going to need a camber kit. Anytime you do anything to the suspension you need to get an alignment. But when you lower it the factory suspension is not adjustable enough to correct that much camber. So just go and look in the classifieds here on HT, or hit ebay. And for future refrence, use the search button. Welcome To HT.

Wrong. Wrong. You can drop the car as much as 1.3 inches and still be within spec. And why do you want 0 degrees camber? With 0 camber, when you corner, the wheel will deflect giving you positive camber, which wears the outside edge of the tire. -1 or -1.5 is a good amount of camber.

There's a lot of things you can do to your suspension that wont effect the alignment. Only time you effect the alignment is when you change the ride height or mess with the toe adjustment bolts or tie rods.

Secondly, don't put washers in the rear and not also reduce negative camber on the front. That will make the car loose. Also, the front is more important as that is where the majority of tire wear occurs, hence tire rotation.

As for your question I've answered it many times. 1.7 inches max drop w/out camber kit.

Well this horse has been beaten many, many times but I'm gonna beat it some more.

My setup is Neuspeed sports and KYB AGX's. According to Neuspeed the sports drop is 1.5 inches.

That setup ate the inside edge of the front tires because of the inability of the alignment techs to properly adjust both the toe and the camber.

My solution was the purchase and installation of the Skunk2 camber kit and a good alignment. My toe is set at 0 and camber around -0.8. Tire wear is perfect, car handles awsome, end of story.

So, based on my experience in having the setup I have, I say to everyone that the camber kit will save money and hassle in the long run.
