just needing some help

ok, this must be the most contraversial question ever. there are thousands of answers, but do i need it?

i have my civic on 17hurry w/ zenn 2" lowering springs and KYB struts.
i havent installed them because im unsure of what to do camber wise

i talked with the alighment shop and they said im going to need the camber kit unless i want it to ride like **** and what-not.

i dont want to burn the tires down in the front or rear.
i have read about the longer bolt and the washer per inch drop in the back...does that whole idea work?

if you say i need a chamber kit front and back, which do you suggest? money is quite an issuse as it is with most of us.

1. How much is your budget (limit) on this project?
2. Find out if your shop/mechanic will install / guarantee it ( u buy the parts)?
Some so called "well known" tire shop / dealer will NOT do tht kind of deal above.
3. "Suspension" Forum will gives u lot of great option there.

alright. we know that you can prevent tire wear without the camber kit but what about the bearings..would it now hurt something else in the suspension

All you need to worry about is your toe. Get your toe zero'd out and call it a day.

this usually works on smaller tires.
now, i think he is on 17" if thats what hurry means.

to the op, ingalls and spc make pretty good kits. the longer bolt trick works with the rear suspension, not the front.

and as for the shop, IDK about riding like ****. with the a good set of springs and struts you will be fine, but without the kit your tires will wear prematurely.

How about 20's? My sister has 225/35/20's on her civic. Dropped with Eibach sportline. 0 toe. No camber kit. Wears like a dream.

One little thing you should check on KYB shocks will only warranty there shock if it has no more then 1.5 inch of drop. If you run it on more of a drop and send it in for warranty repair they will void it.
