Calling all B18c 2 Ek/ej swappers!!!
Ok, so im getting royally confused. Im doing a jdm b18c swap into my ej8 and i want to make sure nothing goes wrong or i dont need anything extra. I know that most of the sensors can be pulled off of my D16y8. I keep hearing conflicting stories on what mounts i need but http://tech.hybridgarage.com/ sez that all my car needs is a 99 Si rear bracket. I plan on doing a del sol radiator swap so let me know if i need something else. keep in mind im trying to B.A.R. my car and trying to keep my A/C
What i have so far:
98 Gsr usdm ecu
obdII lower timing belt cover
obdII crank gear
99' Si rear mount bracket
what i know i need still:
ObdII intake mani
Del sol dual core radiator
Some people say i need a 96 Del Sol AC bracket (38930-P54-000) to use AC but i want to know what people who have actually done this swap know.
Ok, so tell me if i
1) need anything else or any other brackets
2) need that certain bracket to run A/C
Help!!!

do you mean the driver side mount? And are you speaking from experience or from what someone else told you?

You probably would have found more help in the Hybrid forum, but here's what you need:
Driver side mount bracket- 11910-P30-000
This piece bolts to the enine block below thee cam gears. Reuse the
civic studs in this bracket. Also reuse all other civic parts at this
mount location.
99 SI rear upper mount- 50827-S04-N10
Bolts directly to engine block. Use stock civic mount on chassis.
A/C comp. bracket- 38930-P54-000 (definitely P54, not P30)
Bolts to B series block and civic compressor. No need to discharge A/C
system during swap. Leave all A/C lines connected. Use stock civic stud
in side of A/C bracket. Also reuse STOCK CIVIC mount on chassis. Integ.
piece is similar, but you must use the civic piece.
Front tranny mount- use integ. piece on tranny. Again, use stock civic
mount on chassis (like A/C bracket).
Upper tranny mount- use all civic pieces.
That'll get the motor in the car. As far as BAR, I don't think you can BAR a JDM B18C. They'll be looking for the number after the C (1,5). Those referee guys are no dummies. They know their stuff. I BAR'd a GSR motor in my car back in 2001, but it was a USDM B18C1.

Well i can tell you guys that BAR'ing a JDM is entirely do-able. One of the FAQ was on BARing a JDM ITR. The shop that im going through has already BARed a 94 JDM b18c into a 93 hatch.
Ok i understand what i need now but as far as what i need to buy vs. what i already have. Is there any way to break it down like that?
Example:
What i have-
99 si rear bracket
D series mounts
JDM GS-R mounts
What i need-
Driver side mount bracket- 11910-P30-000
A/C comp. bracket- 38930-P54-000
Is that correct?
