A/C wiring question(s)
So I just replaced my compressor. here is some background on what happened: https://honda-tech.com/forums/tech-misc-15/c-pressure-sensor-issue-help-pics-3170493/
So like I said the compressor and drier are now replaced but the ghettorigged swithc is still in there. I havent got the system charged yet but I'm assuming it will still work. However, anyone with common sense knows that if I dont fix the wiring back to stock, it will happen again. Problem is, I dont know how the new switch was wired in or how to figure it out. I found this diagram: http://i267.photobucket.com/albums/i...cture_3082.jpg
but I am kind of electrically challenged
So can anyone take a guess where the switch is wired in to turn on the compressor or how I can figure it out? thank you!

Re: A/C wiring question(s)
the switch is in the pictures on the thread that i linked. it is just a rocker switch. also i discovered that it is a blue/white wire connected to two of the terminals.

Re: A/C wiring question(s)
the rocker switch turns on the compressor. also i got everything back together, tried to put some R134a in and im not getting cold a/c. For one, the car makes a shaking thumping noise when the compressor is turned on which I believe is the result of the tensioner pulley not turning. I'm not sure if i put it on backwards or if it needs to be replaced I will deal with that tomorrow but im also having another problem. When the car is off the gauge on the freon can shows the pressure but when the car is on it stays at zero and occasionally jumps up for a split second. any idea what could be causing this? It seems like the system is charged but it is not cold. I will figure out the issue with the tensioner before i look to much into it but any suggestions would be great. Id like to have an attack plan on this as my time is limited with work and school and this car is my girlfriends daily and she needs it fixed. By the way the fan and compressor are both working so that is not the issue. what else can i check if the a/c is not cold? thank you!

Re: A/C wiring question(s)
yes sir. there is a blue/white wire on the back of two of the three terminals. the other terminal is a ground to activate the red light. not that that is relevant.

thats what im trying to do but I dont know how. That is how the car was when i got it. where does the blue wire go to on the bezel and why do you think the rocker switch would be there?

Re: A/C wiring question(s)
Afterwards, troubleshoot the A/C electrical system as per the service manual. Post the problems that you find if you need help and then fix properly. A previous owner most likely was unable to figure out how to do the latter and jury rigged the system.

Re: A/C wiring question(s)
ok well i fixed the idler pulley. im getting a weird noise when i turn the compressor on and im still not getting cold air. i want to fix the system before i fix the wiring so that i dont create another variable. i will take a look at the service manual now.
