Default Wiring E-Cutout Switch to Cruise Controll Button?

I have a DMH E-Cutout, and it has a Switch to open and close it, the switch just sits in a neutral position and dependent on how long you hold the switch up or down, thats how much it opens/closes the cutout, and I am sure there is a name for this kind of switch, but Im not sure what it is. And I was wondering, is there any way that I could rewire that switch up to my cruise controll button, since they seem to have the same function? I am by all means an ametuer to wiring schematics and relays and such, so if anyone has some knowlege on this that would be great, thanks.

I just checked the wiring, and the cruise has 3 wires and the cutout switch has 6 wires, does anyone think this can be done?

Sounds like the same functionality as the sunroof switch. Maybe try grabbing one from the junkyard and having a look.
