Check if your compressor is coming on.

If it isnt, then get a gauge, or take it to a shop to see if you have any freon in there. If there's no freon, the you have a leak, and since there's not enough pressure in the system, the compressor isnt coming on (so no cold air).

If you have freon in there, and the compressor isnt coming on, then get a new compressor, recharge your freon, and wala....

yeah the compressor comes on when i activate the a/c but when i put it on full blast it feels cool like fall weather but other than that it wont get any colder. i guess i'll try to switch first.

Maybe you dont have enough freon in there, check your pressure before doing anything else...

If you had to have it recharged already, chances are there's a leak. Freon doesnt just dissapear or wear out.

Or you can buy the kit at your local autoparts store and do it yourself... But I'd take it to a shop if I was you.

Yep. I PROMISE if you do it yourself you're going to end up having to take it in anyway.
