Too hot! How can i beat the heat in my civic? no ac not working only hot air! help

LOL. This is true. I put on a few pounds since I've been down here in Texas (45 lbs. to be exact) and noticed you do get hotter a lot quicker and stay hotter for a longer period of time. It's soo hot down here in South Texas, by the time I walk to my car I already broke a sweat or 2 or 3.
If your compressor is working and blower fan is also working but is only blowing hot air, it's your freon. Go to a local A/C place and they usually charge you $10 to fill up with freon. Get tints aswell. I'm getting my tints done this Tuesday with a guy I know. Limo on the back 2 windows and rear glass. Dark as can legally be up front.

Ok again Freon is R12 so call it Refegerant which covers both R12 and R134A
just because it the fan is on doesnt mean its only the refegerant, get it checked by a professional. Could be a bad compressor, compressor clutch, TVX, Pressure switch, thermal switch ect ect.
