hmmm, i never really thought of an a/c job as a real toughy... it took about 25 minutes to de-a/c my car for my turbo setup last year, so i couldnt see the whole process taking more than an hour for installation... the hardest part is just getting the vacuum and **** right... everything is bolt here, bolt there, bolt here, bolt there, plug this, clip that, fill this, close that, done... i'd say do it urself, ur gonna save hundred of dollars and hundreds of minutes

yea well u gotta install condenser fan, evaporator, condenser, all the hard lines, and if u have a dx, u gotta take out the blower fan and put in the one made for ac. its not too bad...or maybe its not too bad cuz i didnt wanna spend a a thousand or so.

yeah well i was lucky enough to have a 95 dx with some pipin *** cold a/c i just had to remove it for my turbo install, but i didnt just take off compressor i took it all it out... but i've done a/c installs a few times, its no big deal as long as u have about an hour or so and kinda know what ur doing "or at least know what goes where, that helps"...
