i didn't know you could drain an A/C system... I know it's illegal to do it without the proper equipment though Take it to a shop to fix the A/C. it's not a DIY kind of thing

you cant drain. the water drippin on floor is usually cause your running the **** out the a/c and evaporator is dripping. but to evacuate refrigerant you need a tank. just have a a/c shop service it

There's no 'water' drain. The condensation will just be in the engine bay and drip off. If you've never serviced / opened up the A/C system, you dont' have to worry about the evaporator; that just collects internal system moisture. If something starts dripping onto the floorboards, you have some other issue aside from the A/C.

the evaporator box has a drain tube in it for this situation typically peoples tubes will get pulled in or clogged and cause the dripping on the floor, also im evap and hvac certfied. the condensor turns liquid to gas

is the hose some place easy to get to so i can use my A/C?
what do i need to do so i don't flood the car when i run A/C. and for the record we're talking about draining water, not the coolant in the a/c system.

Ah, yes. I misread the first post... I thought he was talking about something completely different.

That is right, there is a small rubber drain hose going from the cabin to the engine bay to remove condensation.
It connects to the a/c core between the blower and the heater unit. Make sure it is put on correctly to prevent leakage into the cabin
