a/c belt
ok heres the prob., only when i turn on the a/c and shift like at 4rpm does the belt make a really loud screeching noise. it doesnt do it at all when i dont have it on and everything else is workin just fine except for that really loud annoying noise from the belt. it seems like somethin simple, like do you guys think the tensioner bolts just to be tightened up or somethin like that?

The belt could just be a little lose, it happens all the time.
Could also be a problem with your A/C like a worn bearing, not to sure on that one though.

Should be. It's pretty much a standard on almost all vehicles. You don't have to loosen anything to check the tension on it. Check to see if it is loose or taut before you start unbolting things.

Grab the belt, you should be able to twist it about 45-80 degrees I would say. If you are unsure just as a friend who has experiance with belt tensions to take a look.
