Default bypass srs on a civic-aftermarket steering wheel

I've been trying to search everywhere but I can't find something for EK civics similar to the steps in the thread below:

I've never done it myself but wouldn't it be just the same thing? If you're questioning which resistor to buy, you can pick up a multimeter and just measure the resistance your airbag has and find a matching resistor.
