I was looking to buy the Del Sol... so i check on the carfax and it had been reported stolen vehicle before. so is it good to buy that Del sol?

check with state partol. if its still stolen and the guy selling is not the rightfull owner than obviously not, but it might be a theft recovery at one time like alot of hondas.

i belive the dmv or state partol or dmv keeps a record of the engine serial number as well( the number under engine code on the front of the block)

its probably not bad to buy. unless as said he's not the original owner.
more then likely its just been another victim of thieves.

Being stolen itself isn't necessarily a bad thing as long as everything is fixed correctly. I would get paperwork from the shop and insurance showing what was done and use it as a bargaining chip.

Just make sure and check the car over thoroughly before buying. I have bought cars with a clean carfax and taken off bumpers and such only to find the car had been whacked.

that del sol im looking at... its pretty clean all bone stocks... but i will check with state patrol to make sure before buy it and will ask the owner about paperwork or something like that

so should i go to state patrol first or check del sol then go to state patrol?

i just did same thing. everything looked somewhat straight untill i took the bumpers off and it was a fn disaster, ghetto rigged.

yea i always check front/back bumper to make sure it dont mess up or something like that. so the guy said he think hes 2nd owner of that del sol. he bought it like that way so yeah
