To build or not to build....
Well I have a 95 Del Slo S that I am about to start on. Currently I have a B16 head, Innovative mounts, and a chipped P28. So yeah have a bit more to go
Anyways, this is my daily driver and my first B series. I want the motor to last so I am willing to put a little time and $ into it, but don't want to go wild. So here's where my questions begin. Keep in mind this is a daily driver, but will probably see mild (10-14psi) boost later on. So I do need reliability, but don't want over kill.
1) Should I go LS block or GSR. I know the GSR won't require me to do vtec conversion, but I am more interested in the girdle. I have heard it doesn't matter and that it does. Any real info out there?
2) The bottom end is getting some Tuner Toys rods, so will probably go ahead and invest in some Wiseco pistons. Would you recommend building the head? (If so what would you change? all? why?)
Like I said this is my first B series so I am kinda lost a little. Thanks for the help
