broad EG question..
ok, im looking to get an EG hatch... i was just wondering what all motor set ups some of you EG owners have to get me started on the right foot... So far, i have the money to do a B16a2 motor, and then ill have about another grand on the side to play around with.. i was looking into getting some cams, but i was wondering what you guys recommend.. also im going to start out with some basic lowering springs until the shocks on the car blow, so i can get some full suspension.. so any suggestions would deffinatly help.. thanks.

IMO I would go with a B18C1, I absolutely love mine. For cams I would I would go with skunk2 stage 2's, but you will need to upgrade the head with springs, retainers, etc. Suspension I would go with either some ground control or skunk2 coilovers. Just make sure you research every part you want for your car. Research is the key to making the most out of what you have to spend.

don't get a b16 swap unless you plan on having a nice cheap daily driver.
All motor go with the GSR, some ITR valvetrain, and a SKunk 2 intake manifold

well im voing to AZ in a few months, i wanted to do a turbo, but for the same price, i can get an all motor hatch, thats a little slower, but will run 10 times better and more efficiant... so thats what i decided to do, now its between the stock b18 for a while, or b16 modded right away.... we'll see what happens...

I like my B18C1. Midrange is nice with the stock intake manifold. Good for autocrossing because I'm usually in the middle, not the top... For now anyway... Maybe when I learn to drive better, that'll change.
