Brembo blanks good?
From what I've gathered around here, Brembo blanks and (whatever) brake pads is a good brake upgrade.
My question is, are there any concerns with brake fade since there aren't any holes or slots to ventilate the gases produced from heavy/long braking?
I'm wondering because I'm thinking about doing a minor brake upgrade.
Also, what's a really good set of steel brake lines? Goodridge?
Thanks

Hey man do a search. It will return much more feedback. What will happen here is you'll get maybe 8 replies if you're lucky and go with the mojority consensus from that for your end decision. This is bad. Don't follow in the footsteps of half assed donkeys before you. Be smart and research. Educating yourself before asking simple quesitions like this will get you farther with your mods, not to mention will prove to produce a better end car for you. Just trying to help. I only have a couple hundred posts because I spend most of my time reading not typing.

P.S.
Most people wont tell you stuff like this, consider it constructive critisysm. The few responses you'll get will be from either misinformed noobs or if you're lucky a more seasoned enthusiast with little feedback cause your type of question has been asked a billion times before you. So pretty please, search.

Re: Brembo blanks good? (3 G's)
My friend and i did Brembo blanks with Axxis metal master pads and ATE fluid. Makes a huge difference over worn stock pads, warped rotors and p00py fluid. A basic upgrade like that is sufficent if your car isnt super fast. The brakes setup above doesnt fade all that bad and provides what feels like a huge improvment over stock brakes. Slotted and drilled rotors suck, think about it, more surface area equals better braking, though some will argue that slotted rotors can help the keep the pads fresh because of the added friction/wear it will cause can theoretically eleminate "glazed" pads by scoreing it just a little. Also, autozone or advanced auto rotors come with a warranty and hold up pretty well too, but if it is just a daily driver, the added comfort of the Brembo name might be worth it.

Are these the regular disks? basically stock replacement's made by brembo?
I just intalled a set lastnight on my civic, I got them from summit racing. They seem good, I haven't used them yet(braked hard), but i took the car for a spin after installing them, once the pads wore in a little they seem sto grab good, better then the stock warped rotors and pads

Pads do not outgas anymore that is old like 70's technology when brake pads out gassed when hot, current brake pads all outgass once when being broke in and do not do it again. What are you doing that you are worried about Brake Fade?
