brakes sticking
i have a 98 civic coupe ex..
It started to do this a few months back but now its doing really bad.
Its only the front brakes that does it and usually it will only do it randomly
when your driving. Also wile trying to bleed both front calipers and rear drums
i found that the driver rear drum has no fluid going to it, i don't know if the
front brakes locking up has anything to do with it.
The only thing Ive done is bleed the brakes n master.
does anyone know what it could be?
i know for sure its not the calipers or slider pins because both of the calipers
are doing it at same time.
maybe the brake master?

Re: brakes sticking
Try to surge bleed to get something anything out of the rear. Connect a 3/16 vinyl hose to the bleeder to more clearly see if anything is coming out. just open the bleeder fully and pump the brakes somewhat vigorously to 'surge' bleed. Try not to bottom out the pedal.
You've got to get something out of the rear bleeder before moving on with life...

Re: brakes sticking
You definitely need to clear the brake lines. A clogged line can cause the brakes to lock up. If the problem persists after clearing the lines, then lubricate or replace the caliper pins or possibly replace the calipers.

Re: brakes sticking
nOOb answer. your check valve is either inline or is connected directly to your brake booster, via vacuum line. Guys you can quote me on this... Id check your master cylinder. Sounds like it needs replaced or rebuilt if you can still do this on a honda. like I said nOOb answer. Just trying to help a fellow honda guy out.
