brake upgrade question on EG

Re: brake upgrade question on EG (JdmVetteEater)
slotted rotors are better, drilling the rotors can weaken them causing premature failure.... especially in cheap brands from what I have researched

I really don't know

get some GSR front brakes for your car. Get a 91EX 4 door MC, new autozone or brembo blanks, a pad that suits your driving needs and that will be fine....

would you recomend putting race pads and steel braidded lines on when I do the swap? Is there any certain type of brake fluid that would be better for my setup?

Re: brake upgrade question on EG (JdmVetteEater)
You need to look at what purpose the pads are intended for. You don't want to go putting racing pads on a street-only vehicle. Pads typically work best in certain heat ranges. Racing pads are subject to more abuse and typically work best at higher heat ranges than street pads. Street pads are designed for lower heat ranges since they will most likely not be abused like race pads. So, if you put race pads on a street vehicle, they won't work very well until properly warmed up and that may be a very bad thing.
Don't bother with braided lines if your current lines are in good condition.
Check out ATE racing fluid.

Get a 5 lug conversion..i did mine and it works great..all OEM and awesome stopping power. But i also changed my master cylinder with a GSR one and prop valve along with SS lines.
Blanks are better than slotted or crossdrilled for street applications...just get those if you want to impress your friends with your bling..
