Default Brake problem with steering angle?

Whenever I turn my steering wheel to full right or left lock, I lose my brakes. I can just push the pedal to the floor. Once the steering wheel is off full lock, I can pump the brakes once or twice and they're back to working normal. They don't gradually bleed down over time or anything else either, it's only when the steering wheel is at full lock.

Any ideas?

How does the brake fluid level look? Did you do any work on the brakes? Pull both front wheels off and check around the brake assy and brake lines for signs of damage/brake fluid. It sounds like you have a problem with one of the brake hoses.

Yeah I haven't found any visible fluid leaks and the fluid level doesn't seem to be going down... I bought the car recently with a few known issues. I can only assume they "backyard mechaniced" the brakes recently. I'm going to tear into it this week sometime, I just thought I'd check here first to see if anyone had some ideas.

Damnit, no ideas?

I have feeling this might end up being a headache.

i have the same problem,it happened after i redid the suspension and brakes, everything new,i think an air bubble is in one of the "bends" in the brake hoses and flows over to the calper when you turned the wheel. i tried bleeding it out by bleeding the brakes with the wheels turned,it was better but still does the same thing.it is now too damn cold so i will wait until spring
