Hello H-T,

I haven't been on much lately due to having two ridiculous jobs. Anyway, a problem came up with my EJ6 today that I've never hear of, thought I would try to get some feedback.

My taillights stay on all of the time. Car on or off, headlights on or off, etc. So basically I have to disconnect my battery all day at work, anywhere I'l be for a while so it doesn't die.

I'm pretty good with electrical stuff and I have a shop manual, so I'll try to tackle this on my own when I get a day off, but thought I would run it by you al first.

Stopper for the switch is broke. It's on the high side of the brake pedal. Replace with new, or put a bolt in it's place, duct tape, etc. You'll understand once you see it. Basically without it there (or something taking it's place), the switch will just go into the hole meant for the stopper. The switch isn't making contact with anything and that's why your lights stay on.
