Default brake fluid leak

today i noticed brake fluid dripping out of the brake master cylinder cap and down the wires where it drips onto the frame. i changed my rotors and pads 2 days ago and did not take the cap off the MC when i pushed the piston back in. it looks as tho the fluid level in the resevoir has not gone down at all. its still at the top. is this just extra fluid pushed from the calipers into the resevoir when i pushed the pistons back in with the cap still on? or is this normal at all?

when you press the pistons in, the fluid returns to the master cylinder. you need to take a turkey baster, clean of course, and remove the excess to the max line. if you dont do this, when brake fluid gets hot it will expand and apply your brakes a little. this will cause them to wear pre-maturely. i know it sounds weird but it is true.
