BOV install for a greddy turbo intercooled 99 civic si
ok, i want to install a BOV on my car but i'm new to honda's (just purchased this ride)
does it require any welding?
when i shift i can hear somewhat of a ppssshh but not much and not what i like.
is that ppsshh coming from the internal BOV? is it just a bolt on replacement to that?
i've searched around and cant find any install vids or anything that are for a setup similar to mine let alone a civic
i'm thinking of getting the Greddy TypeRS BOV
my question is: does anyone know of a site that would show me step-by-step on how to do the install?
like i said i'm VERY new to hondas, this is my first
thanks in advance

The ppssshh you hear is a bov there is no such thing as a internal bov. Yes you may have to have the flange to what ever bov you get welded on. You should read up on turbo systems so you dont have to ask these types of questions. Most on here will grill you to sh*t for such inquiries.

ok sorry damn, i thought this was a site to ask questions anf have people answer them. like i warned everyone i'm VERY new to hondas.
so if i already have a bov then why can i just replace that one with the new one in the same spot?

because the flange on a new one may be different than on the one you have and not line up.
