96 EX

So I've got a annoying problem on my hands. I've got a d16y8 that is misfiring randomly and has a bouncy idle. Right now its snowing its *** off so I cant exactly work on it. But I adjusted my camshaft and crankshaft timing exactly how it should be. It still misfires, am I suppose to reset the ECU via by the kick panel? If so how?? Also could my valves be causing my misfiring? I was thinking that I should adjust them within spec if they already are not. And as far as the idle goes, if I press the clutch in my idle with raise a few hundred RPM's then come back and when I start the car RPM's are at like 2500. Would adjusting the screw on the idle control help my idle??
