Bone stock 99 civic ex steering creaking
Trying to narrow down a creaking sound that happens ONLY when it's cold outside and coming from driver side front corner. Car was up in the air and all ball joints are solid with no play. Sway bar links look to be possibility. Anyone have experience with this issue? Just looking for some insight on the problem. I don't wanna just throw parts at it.

Are you sure it's on the outside of the car and not inside on the steering column when turning the wheel?
The column would be on the drivers side of the car at least. I know my 95 column squeaks sometimes when I turn the wheel. I haven't looked up the lube points or the type of lube Honda recommends.
Not sure if this applies to you but thought I'd throw it out there.

If you can get it to make the noise with the car sitting still, have someone else turn the wheel while you walk around and listen for exactly where it is coming from.
