Bogging issue...help please...
Here's my setup:
92 Cx hatch w/d16a6 (it's all I could find at the time)
z6 wire harness, z6 intake manifold, y7 distributor, p06 ecu
Here's my problem:
It runs alright driving around town, but when I'm at a steady speed on the highway for a couple mins, the sucker bogs down on me and doesn't want to go anywhere. I have to pull over and the shut it off for a min or so. When I start it back up, it runs ok again. But it keeps doing this over and over. No check engine light yet. I heard that a map sensor could act up without a CEL, is this true? And can an ignitor cause this bogging also? I heard that the 96+ distributor's had a recall from Honda because of bad ignitors. Please help, my daily driver is kinda out of commission right now.

you head gasket is going to shyt... I had the same problem and It was because the gasket had a small leak and it would drown my plugs.. I changed everything from distibutor, to plugs, wires, injectors, etc.. Damn head gasket leak...

i would guess he is running a stock ecu for the stock motor. I would go with fuel pump or headgasket like the others have stated.

Re: Bogging issue...help please... (mengo_charged)
do a leakdown test to confirm that it isn't your headgasket as stated above.
check your ECU for any stored codes.
when was the last tune-up?fuel filter specifically.
get a shop manual and start testing the specs on sensors.
